Executive Director

Lucky is the ED of Good Care Uganda Foundation and is currently tasked to

Support operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff, and supporting Board’s evaluation of chief executive.
Oversee design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services.
Recommend yearly budget for Board approval and prudently manages organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.
Effectively manage the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations.
Assure the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
Oversee fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation.

Fred Keitongo

Deputy Executive Director

Fred works with the Board of directors to provide strategic guidance, valuable contacts and resources to the organizations. He acts as a liaison between the board of directors and the rest of the organization.

Fred oversee the heads of each department in the organisation, including marketing, fundraising, program development, HR management and accounting.

He also fulfills vital roles outside the office and after normal business hours. Fred attends and hosts a range of fundraising events, new program inaugurations and public relations events.

Ezra Mucunguzi

Program Director

Ezra is our Programs Director.

He provides the interface between programme ownership and delivery and acts as a focal point between the business and the programme manager.
He is responsible for ongoing management on behalf of the SRO to ensure that desired programme outcomes and objectives are delivered.
Ezra’s specific responsibilities at goodcare include
ensuring an appropriate programme or project management framework is in place,
incorporating the NI Gateway Review Process if required,
preparing the programme brief, project initiation documents or equivalent and business case among other documents,
appraising options and submitting for approval,
securing resources and expertise from the client organisation as required by appointing professional advisers to support the project sponsor role,
co-ordinating and directing end user input,
co-ordinating value management strategy,
controlling changes following approval,
determining and managing risks to the programme,
managing the programme budget, including risk allowance, acting as sole point of contact with the programme manager,
co-ordinating and fostering teamwork,
managing the programme manager’s performance of delegated responsibility,
establishing formal reporting arrangements on programme or project progress,
defining criteria for control and management of the programme or project and assisting the programme manager in the resolution of problems among others.

Muhwezi Stephen Asimwe

Legal Officer

Mr. Muhwezi Stephen is a lawyer his skills are especially: relating law to the business transactions internally, his skills include interpreting laws, rules, and regulations for corporate officers; preparing legal documents and written pleadings for court cases; and providing advice on administrative policy, employment issues, regulatory compliance issues and litigation strategies.

Brendah Ankankundah

Finance Director

Brenda is our Finance Director. She works alongside the executive director to advise on the best path of the organisation finances and accounting systems.

Brendas duties among others is to form a close working relationship with the Executive Director, other Senior Executives and Non-Executives and to provide leadership to the Board’s Finance and Accounting strategy, to optimise the organisation’s financial performance and strategic position.

Robert Kakuru

Administration & Planning Director

Robert is the Administration and Planning Director.

He oversees the support operations of goodcare. He is charged with planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes at goodcare.
He also ensures that there is effective information flow and that resources are employed efficiently throughout the organisation.
